19 year old Iris feels like she has set foot inside her favorite Perry Mason novel when New York Private Eye, Alan La Rue, asks her to help him catch the renowned jewel thief, Velda Sabino. When the Shutter releases on an X-Ray Camera hidden in a box, they hope it will provide them the evidence they need to expose the truth... but sometimes, the truth can be stranger than fiction.

Linda Bott has been working in short creative productions since receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Radio/TV Communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Decorated with several awards from the Missouri Broadcasters Association and American Advertising Federation, she currently produces commercials for the ABC affiliate in Columbia.
When she's not behind a camera or editing, she can be found on stage playing bass and singing backing vocals with Violet & the Undercurrents.
Linda's ambition is to grow her skill set while continuing to be a visionary leader.

Writer & Editor

Production from Webster University in St. Louis, where he also developed a passion for screenwriting. He works as a producer in the creative services dept at the local ABC affiliate in Columbia, MO. His goal is to combine his two hobbies of writing and history, in a novel set in 12th Century France.

Jackie Aufderheide is a Columbia Missouri native who studied at both the University of Central Missouri for Theater and Paul Mitchell the School Columbia for Esthetics. She has aspirations of being on a movie set for the rest of her life, either as a Lead Actress or a Makeup Artist creating the scariest movie monsters the world has ever seen.
Character: Velda Sabino
Rae was born and raised in the northland of Kansas City, Missouri. She has a BFA in theatre arts from Stephens College and plans to pursue a commercial/tv/film career in town, someday moving on to Atlanta, GA, and eventually, the silver screen!

Larry Collins from Columbia, MO has always loved acting even from a young age in small school plays. Eventually moving to local theater at Maplewood Barn Theater. Larry decided to pursue acting by joining Images Agency in STL. Larry went to LA with Images and won Actor of the Year 2016 for the International Presentation of Performers.

In a former life Ed worked in film production as set decorator, scenic painter, props and numerous other behind the scenes roles, including as a scenic painter for Ang Lee’s “Ride with the Devil.” Ed confesses “…but now I don’t have to work as hard.”

When it comes to crew there's no one sharper and more on point than Harleigh Wacker. She started taking film production courses at the age of 13 and continues her education through school and assisting on a variety of different productions including her own film. Harleigh's passion for film continues to advance and grow on a daily basis. Her plans are to produce for television and pursue entertainment law.
2nd Unit Director
Independence, Missouri native Erin Brown is the writer and director of several short films such as The Voice in the Dark and Steven Luby: Paranormal Investigator. Her latest film, Hotline, will be on the festival circuit later this year. She also has a webseries based on Steven Luby in the works, and a documentary to be filmed in the fall.

With over 30 years in the beauty industry as a Master Stylist and Nail Artist and 13+ years in Makeup and Special Effects. Jacki is no stranger to Indie Film work. 10 years experience in field including Stage Production and Photo Shoots in Kansas City & Las Vegas with Make Up, Special Effects, Hair and Costumes. Jacki continues to build her reputation as an imaginative and astute with planned and unplanned situations with makeup and hair on set.

Phillip Meece is a Theatre Major from William Jewell College who specializes in stage combat. Phillip participated in a number of workshops provided by the Society of American Fight Directors in 2008 and since has been involved in theatre, film and even an opera, exercising those skills. Phillip continues to do fight direction for projects as a passionate hobby.
